INTRO
Music-making is a basic life skill, just like walking or talking. Although simply listening to music has its place in a well-rounded music education, it doesn’t support learning in the same way that active music-making experiences do. When a child can learn through the support and example of family members in the same way they learn language, their learning potential is limitless.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
During these weekly classes you will learn how to play musically with your baby. You will create a bond through music. Each class features bouncing and rocking songs, wiggle and peek-a-boo games, and other fun activities for the two of you. When you go home, you can continue the fun.
Child-centred, early exposure to music and language provides tools for developing future learning skills.
